D-GUARD CONFEDERATE STYLE BOWIE KNIFE. Large 17-1/4” blade, 23” overall. Blade is 2” wide. Blade has slight clip point. Not a true D-guard in that one long quillion is bent up to approximate the “D”. Two part wooden slabs form the pistol type handle. Blade is dark and pitted overall as is cross guard. 4-48700 JS7 (1,000-2,000)
