SIGNED PAIRPOINT LAMP WITH REVERSE PAINTED SHADE

SIGNED PAIRPOINT LAMP WITH REVERSE PAINTED SHADE. First third 20th century. Base illustrated Pg. 23, “Pairpoint Lamps” by Malakoff, signed “PAIRPOINT” above a diamond with “P” with serial number C3066. The conical textured and frosted unsigned shade attributed to Pairpoint reverse painted with a coastal scene of sailboats and seagulls on calm water. A band of glass beadwork glued to base rim of shade. SIZE: Overall height 22″. Shade diameter 16″. CONDITION: Circular shell flake off on shade exterior 1″ above base rim, otherwise good. Some small quantities of beadwork absent. The base with original golden brown patina. 9-97405 (4,000-7,000)
