DURKEE HALF-STOCK RIFLE. Cal. 45 Smoothbore. 30” octagonal bbl, tiger maple stock, brass trigger, marked “J.H. DURKEE / LEBANON N H.” on the top bbl flat. The extension sight and its adjusting screw are missing. The upper tang is broken at the adjustment screw and both screws are replacements. The ramrod, nipple and hammer are replaced. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina except hammer, which is moderately pitted. Several large repairs and some minor ones to the wood, which has been refinished. Mechanically good. 4-52623 FS65 (500-800)
