DUGASSE CLAVEAU THREE-PIECE DORE BRONZE SEVRES CLOCK SUITE. This fine example with an oval clock in a bronze case cast with scrolling leaf tips centering demi-lune painted end panels further centering a rectangular panel, the white dial with Roman Numeral chapter ring and time and strike apertures, painted with puttis above a rectangular panel painted with a young man seranading a maiden in a pastural scene. The end panels painted with ribbon tied, floral sprays and wreath. Each with a bird. Urn form garnitures cast with scrolling mask handles on a shaped plinth, fitted with conforming dome covers with pineapple finials. Each paint decorated with a courting scene opposing a spray of fruit and flowers. SIZE: Clock: 13-1/4″ h. Urns: 11-3/4″ h. CONDITION: Very fine condition overall with no damages or restorations noted. Brass works appear to be in need of cleaning. There is an old repair to hammer-arm. 9-97072 (5,000-7,000)
