LARS LARSEN (Canadian, Last half of the 20th Century) “THE BIG ONE METROPOLE POOL”. Acrylic on board salmon fishing scene shows a man fly fishing in a river surrounded by evergreens under a blue and white cloud sky supporting a spread wing bald eagle. A large salmon has surfaced taking a fly. Signed lower right. Housed in a modern molded wood frame with linen matte and white and gold liner. Accompanying the painting is a Certificate of Authenticity from the artist dated 1988. Also a receipt from the Atlantic Salmon Federation Auction held at the La Grand Hotel Montreal April 15, 1988. SIZE: 26″ x 36″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 9-94988 (1,000-1,500)
