CLOISONNE RUYI. 19th century, China. Decorated with scrolling polychrome peonies and chrysanthemums amongst precious objects on a turquoise ground. Mounted with three gilt emblems, each with a shou character within a border of bats and cloud bands. The reverse with polychrome bats among auspicious objects, shou symbol, all centering a 4-character Ch’ien Lung mark. Mounted with a tasseled cord. SIZE: 18-1/2″ l.
