HILLIARD HALF-STOCK RIFLE. Cal. 40. 26” octagonal bbl, marked “D.H. HILLIARD CORNISH. N.H. 2234” unusually the marking is all in one line. The lockplate is marked “LEMAN / LANCTRPA.” The other mountings on the stock are the same as found on Hilliard’s underhammer rifles. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina overall. Stock has minor dents and scratches. Long extension tang sight is bent. 4-52610 FS53 (800-1,500)
