SETH THOMAS HANGING GALLERY CLOCK. First quarter of the 20th Century. The 30″ diameter round oak case with hinged door opening to a 24″ dial, 30-day double spring movement marked “ST” and the model number “86A1”. Having a grand deadbeat escapement. Pendulum present, no key. SIZE: 30″ dia. x 6″ d. PROVENANCE: This clock was removed from a railroad station in Cincinnati, Oh. CONDITION: Nicely refinished case, the hands rubbed down to the brass and the dial repainted, probably by The Dial House. Pendulum rod is present and within clock, pendulum rod missing a section of lower tip. Otherwise an excellent clock. 9-21132 (2,700-3,000)
