SETH THOMAS “FASHION #5” CALENDAR CLOCK. Third quarter of the 19th Century. With walnut case. The movement striking on gong. The upper dial with Roman Numeral chapter ring and small seconds dial. The lower dial with calendar, day, date and month. The glass door with gilt lettering “FASHION”. Raised on a molded plinth. Pendulum present, no key. SIZE: 32″ h x 16″ w x 6-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Tastefully repainted dials, the calendar rolls have been replaced, paper on calendar rolls replaced, original gong, original engraved pendulum with interior cardstock label. Original label inside. Case professionally restored. Finials old & original. Back is original. Interior door with slight restoration. Very good. 9-21148 (2,000-2,500)
