CONVERTED REMINGTON NEW MODEL NAVY REVOLVER. Cal.38CF. SN 22405. 7-3/8” oct bbl. Standard three line markings on the top of the bbl have been partially removed during the refinishing after conversion. This conversion involves a loading plate with gate and a separate ejector applied to the right side of the frame. There is a hole in the left side of the frame where the recoil shield has been milled flat for the installation of this plate. Grips have been cut down from a New Model Army revolver. CONDITION: Mostly brown patina with hints of blue mixed with dents and light pitting. Grips have dents and chips under the more recent varnish. Mechanically fine.
