RELIEF CARVING OF OLIVER HAZZARD PERRY IN FOLK ART FRAME. Perry was a Naval officer in the War of 1812. He lived from 1785-1819. Relief carving shows him straight on with “O. H. Perry” underneath. Housed in an even more interesting folk art frame which is made up of carved wood which has spread eagle finial and carved anchor, powder horn and cannon with balls. Carved writing on back. SIZE: 6” h x 3-1/4” w. CONDITION: One crack in frame, otherwise very good. 9-93547 (200-400)
