CONVERTED REMINTON NEW MODEL ARMY REVOLVER. SN 94278. Cal. 44. 8” oct. bbl. Standard Remington markings on top of bbl with inspector markings overall. “GP” inspector cartouche on left side of grip. Conversion is not a standard Remington conversion but has a much thicker filler plate with a built in firing pin between the recoil shield and the rear of the cylinder. There are no numbers on any of these pieces. CONDITION: 70% blue on the frame and conversion plate. Cylinder has a brown patina with a heavy dragline and faint traces of blue. Bbl and loading lever have strong traces of blue. Grips are sharp. Action is fine. 4-56879 X-9 (2,000-3,000)
