E. HOWARD FIGURE-EIGHT REGULATOR #7. Boston, third quarter of the 19th Century. The figure-eight walnut case with carved crest & pediment and with original eglomise tablets. The hinged door opening to a painted dial with Roman Numeral chapter ring marked “E. HOWARD & CO. BOSTON.”. The original brass eight-day, weight driven movement marked “E. Howard & Co., Boston” with recoil escapement and mounted with original Howard pendulum and with an original weight stamped “2”. Pendulum, winder, weight present. SIZE: 51″ l x 17″ dia. x 5-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Looks to be in good, as found condition with slight restoration. 9-21171 (12,500-16,500)
