GORHAM STERLING COFFEE POT & REPOUSSE COVERED SUGAR BOWL. Late 19th/early 20th century. Gorham coffee pot with hinged lid and scrolled finial. The S-scrolled spout cast with a leaf tip, the handle cast with a stylized swan’s head. Stamped beneath the plinth with the Gorham Silver Co. mark and stamped “STERLING/A4016/1-5/8”. The repousse covered sugar in the form of an urn with scrolled handles, the lid with onion finial, decorated overall with scrolling floral and grape vinery and fruit and floral clusters. Central monogram within a ribbon tied fruit and floral cartouche. Weight of coffee pot: 27 troy oz. Weight of sugar: 22 troy oz. SIZE: Coffee pot: 13″ h. Sugar: 9-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Coffee pot with slight dent at mid point, otherwise very good. Covered sugar with slight small denting at mid point, otherwise very good. 9-96624 (600-900)
