TWO FRENCH ART GLASS AND SILVER COMPOTES. Early 20th century. The first example with an amber bowl with fluted rim joined to a swelled hexagonal support decorated with floral buds on a stepped hexagonal base, marked “Made in France” with maker’s name. The second example with frosted glass bowl decorated with berries and vines between a silver decorated post with ring handle and a scrolled leaf decorated base, unsigned and unmarked. SIZE: 12″ h of first, 14-1/4″ h of second. CONDITION: Both in very good condition overall. 9-96621 (800-1,200)
