HARRY BRIGHT (UNITED KINGDOM, fl.1867 – 1892) PAIR OF BIRD STUDIES. 1. Watercolored over print winter scene shows a group of birds sheltering themselves under what appears to be a hat at the end of a stick. Signed lower left and dated “1876”. 2. Watercolored over print winter scene shows a flock of birds on branch with landscape background. Both are housed in identical incised carved burl decorated gilt edged frames with velvet liner (as is), inner thick mat with another white mat. Label on reverse from William Schaus Publishers, New York. SIZE: Sight 16-1/2″ x 11-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-97551 (1,500-2,500)
