Ca. 1880-90’slarge brilliant chromolithograph of the “FirstLanding of Pere Marquette in Illinois, 1673.” In original gilded ornate frame with their name embossed on the bottom of the frame. SIZE: image is 29″ x 18 1/2″ and adding mat and frame makes an impressive 42″x32″. CONDITION: The image is pristine and Near Mint. The mat has been replaced. The original frame has a few dings and chips, which hardly detract. All in all, a stunning sign. 1-27872 (2,000-3,000)
