ANTIQUE LITHOGRAPH MEDICINAL SIGN DEPICTING GEN. R. E. LEE. The Yankee’s from Philadelphia, PA. at Dr. D. Jayne & Son Medicines utilized this portrait image of the Civil War’s greatest Confederate general to promote their medicines. The tin sign copyright dated 1908 depicts the white haired Gen. Robert E. Lee in his dress uniform. The portrait, self-framed with gold border and brown trim. SIZE: 15″ wide, 19″ high. CONDITION: Generally very good, a couple of handing dents in the sign and very minor scuffs along the edge. Image of Lee is strong and colorful. 4-49012 (750-1,000)
