REPOUSSE BRONZE INCENSE BURNER. 19th century, Tibet. Surface chased with dragons, pearls and auspicious emblems. Pagoda form finial with suspended bells. Ends with foo dogs mask ring handles. SIZE: 12″ h x 9″ w x 6″ d. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of the late Professor Theodor Lugs by descent through the family to his daughter. CONDITION: Generally good. Old repair to one end of top finial. Two legs in need of reattachment. 9-29956 (800-1,200)
