RARE FACTORY ENGRAVED SMITH & WESSON 3RD MODEL SINGLE ACTION 38 REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. SN 19254. Nickel finish with 4″ keyhole bbl, half-moon front sight with deep gold medallion pearl grips. Both sides of the frame, both sides of the top strap, bbl, ejector housing & pivot, along with the islands between the flutes are very nicely engraved in foliate arabesque patterns with punch dot background. This revolver is guaranteed to letter with factory engraving, nickel plating & pearl grips. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Overall retains 97-98% strong orig nickel finish with slight muzzle edge wear. Hammer & trigger guard retain generous amounts of orig case colors. Grips are extremely fine with lots of color & fire. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore.
