SMITH & WESSON NEW MODEL #3 REVOLVER. Cal. 44 American. SN 17075. Blue finish, 6-1/2″ key hole bbl, with hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Fine plus. As completely restored, with case colored trigger guard & hammer. Mechanics are fine; the hammer safety notch falls a little short so that the hammer has to be held to the rear to open the latch. Grips are turning chocolate and show moderate to heavy wear. Strong bore with moderate pitting. 4-56414 JR372 (800-1,200)
