AIGUILLES FRENCH CARRIAGE CLOCK. Last quarter of the 19th Century. Brass case with engaged Corinthian columns on a stepped molded base and top. The movement with time, strike, alarm, and repeat. The face silvered, centering a blue enameled chapter ring for time and alarm. Spring movement with platform escapement. No key. SIZE: 8″ h overall x 4-1/4″ w x 3-3/4″ d. Case 6-1/4″ h. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Brass gilded case shows wear on top, running and striking at present time. Movement appears to have been cleaned fairly recently, some touch up and wear to blue enameling. Very good. 9-21069 (600-800)
