BULL DURHAM SMOKING TOBACCO CARDBOARD SIGN. One of the most humorous and desirable as well as often copied of all the signs produced by the Blackwell’s Durham Tobacco Co. Comical image of two hunters taking time out for a Bull Durham smoke oblivious to the fact that they’ve caught the attention of the resident bull. SIZE: Image size 17-1/2” w x 27-1/2” h. CONDITION: A rare sign to find in any condition, this one would grade about good. Surface exhibits some uneven coloring likely due to changes in the surface varnish of the print. Also present are moderate fly specks and several small punctures. Still a classic sign well worthy of some professional conservation. PF 1-6423 (1,000-1,500)
