ANSONIA CLOCK CO. “MARQUIS” CRYSTAL REGULATOR. First quarter of the 20th Century. The cast brass case surmounted by a Classical urn, the four beveled glass panels centering an enameled dial with open escapement and time & strike apertures. Eight-day spring movement with strike on gong. Twin cylinder simulated mercury pendulum intact. The whole raised on scrolled feet. Pendulum present, no key. SIZE: Overall: 15″ h x 7-1/4″ w x 6-1/4″ d. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Nicely restored condition, urn finial slightly off center. 9-21076 (700-900)
