MARTIALLY MARKED SMITH & WESSON 2ND MODEL SCHOFIELD REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Schofield. SN 3088. Restored blue finish, 7″ keyhole bbl and 2-pc wood grips. Bottom of the butt has a small “US” at the heel and the grips, numbered “1723”, have a large “51” on the left side and a carved “B” on the right side of the butt. CONDITION: Fine, as restored. Being mostly a plum/brown patina with dark blue in the sheltered areas. Grips are sound showing moderate to heavy wear with small chips at the toes. Mechanics are fine; strong bore with light to moderate pitting. 4-56411 JR373 (2,000-3,500)
