ITHACA “SKELETON” DOUBLE DIAL PERPETUAL CALENDAR CLOCK. The painted and gilt double dial on glass mounted to a rosewood columnar frame. The time movement marked “E.N. Welch” with patent date of 1870. The whole on an oval plinth fitted with glass dome. This is an unusual and rare example for a collector of Ithaca calendar clocks. SIZE: Overall including dome: 21″ h x 13″ w x 7-1/4″ d. PROVENANCE: Ex-Alfred Scott Collection, 1970; Ex-Maynard Bell Collection, 1975; Ex-George Snow Collection; Ex Jowell Bernick Collection to current owner. Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX.
