E.N. WELCH “SCALCHI” MODEL WALNUT PARLOR CLOCK. Third quarter of the 19th Century. The Classical Revival style case with balustrade cornice. The hinged arched door flanked by fluted half columns. The paper dial with Roman Numeral chapter ring having an eight-day Patti spring powered movement with strike on gong. The original cast brass pendulum with Sandwich glass insert and Maltese Cross. The whole raised on a stepped molded plinth. Pendulum and key present. Original label on back of case. SIZE: 19-1/2″ h x 12″ w x 6″ d. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX.
