E.N. WELCH “CARY VP” MODEL ROSEWOOD PARLOR CLOCK. last quarter of the 19th Century. The rosewood case applied with colonnettes and fitted with a painted dial and an eight-day Patti spring powered movement, strike on bell, original cast pendulum, mounted with a Sandwich glass insert. Back of case with original paper label. Raised on a stepped molded plinth. Pendulum present, no key. SIZE: 20-1/2″ h x 12″ w x 6-1/4″ d. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Tablet possibly replaced, case has been tastefully scrubbed down, center finial possibly a replacement. Otherwise a very nice clock. 9-21059 (1,000-1,500)
