SETH THOMAS EARLY PARLOR CALENDAR CLOCK. Third quarter of the 19th Century. The rosewood veneered case with engaged faceted half columns centering a door with eagle tablet. The upper dial with Roman Numeral chapter ring, the lower calendar dial with day, date and month. Case retains original paper label on backboard. Pendulum and two weights present, no key. SIZE: 30-1/2″ h x 18-1/2″ w x 5-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Case tastefully refinished, slight veneer damage, tablets strengthened, paper dials have been added over the existing original painted dials.
