RARE BRASS BELT BUCKLE FOR THE 6TH INFANTRY, NORTH CAROLINA S.T. This excellent rare example in bold relief “6 N.C.S.T. INF”. This is the only Confederate state regimental plate and only 75 of these are known to exist, many of which were dug, this example clearly was non-excavated. Retains the three soldered hooks on reverse. SIZE: 51mm by 74mm. CONDITION: Wonderfully toned brass in excellent non-excavated condition, a great example. 4-48660 JS37 (6,000-7,000)
