POMEROY CHAMPAGNE EMBOSSED CARDBOARD SIGN. A great looking sign with a black embossed crow (“The Jackdaw of Reims Uncorking a Bottle of Pomeroy”). Chromolithographed, ca. 1880-90’s. Very scarce.SIZE: 27″ x 21″ including the margins which are partially under the mat but excluding the frame. CONDITION: Near excellent. Image is pristine, margins with some flaws including a small tear in the caption at the bottom. The frame is original and is embossed Francis Draz Co., NY (the importer). The mat is new. 1-27930 (1,000-1,500)
