SETH THOMAS “FASHION” #3 TEXAS STAR MODEL CALENDAR CLOCK. Last quarter of the 19th Century. Fitted in a walnut case. Calendar dial marked “SOUTHERN CALENDAR CLOCK CO. ST. LOUIS, MO. PATENTED MARCH 18, 1879. the interior with incised gilt decoration. Pendulum present, no key. SIZE: 32″ h x 16″ w x 5-1/2” d. CONDITION: Case has been brought down to the natural wood and oiled. Original brass bell, painted dials, and “FASHION” stenciling on glass. Dials show wear. Case cornice with small losses at rear. Very good overall. 9-21137 (2,000-2,500)
