ANSONIA PINWHEEL JEWELERS WALNUT WALL REGULATOR. Fourth quarter of the 19th Century. The large rectangular case with molded cornice surmounted by a carved crest & finial and with glass on three sides. The dial with Roman Numeral chapter ring mounted within a molded brass bezel. The eight-day movement with pinwheel escapement, sweep second, weight driven with a six-rod compensating pendulum with lyre trim. Pendulum & weight present, no key. SIZE: Overall 89″ l x 21″ w x 9-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Refinished, restored case with paper dial probably over a porcelain dial. 9-21103 (5,500-6,500)
