REMINGTON NEW MODEL POLICE CONVERSION REVOLVER. Cal. 38 RF & 36 Perc. SN 2231. Conversion #31. Usual configuration with 4-1/2” oct bbl, half moon German silver front sight, with bbl address reading from cyl to muzzle. It has nickel plated trigger guard & 2-pc walnut grips. Accompanied by both conversion & percussion cylinders. CONDITION: Fine, as expertly restored with enhanced patina on bbl & frame. Neither cylinder appears to match, although they are matched in condition. Trigger guard retains most of its orig finish. Grips are sound & retain most of their orig finish. Mechanics are fine, strong bore with scattered pitting. 4-60202 JR396 (1,500-2,000)
