FINE CARVED IVORY VASE. Late 19th, early 20th century, China. The body carved as a section of bamboo with figures of Shou Lao riding a deer with attendant children and cranes, all in high relief. Fitted on a hardwood stand. SIZE: 8-1/4″ h x 5-1/4″ dia. CONDITION: Old surfaces with nice patina. No damages or restoration noted. Some separation from body at tips of branches.
