COUNT ARTHUR MARIE GABRIEL DU PASSAGE (French, 1838-1909) THE GROOM SADDLING HORSE. Depicting a man at the side of a horse cinching a saddle, a dog threatening the horse, a blanket discarded on the ground bearing a Coat-of-Arms. Modeled on a grassy oval plinth with cobblestones with the etched signature on edge of plith on stonework “A du Passage”. SIZE: 9-3/4″ h x 20-1/2″ l x 8-1/2″ w.
