*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). SN 348129. Standard grade rifle with 24-1/4″ rnd bbl, full magazine, half nickel front sight with screw & semi-buckhorn rear sight. Wood is nicely figured, uncheckered American walnut with straight stock & crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl & magazine tube retain about 95% strong bright orig blue with light muzzle edge wear & a few scattered spots of light surface rust. Receiver retains about 95% orig finish, strong blue on the sides & top, turning plum on the bottom with minor handling nicks & scratches on the sides. Lever retains about 75% case colors & the hammer about 85%. Wood is sound with a sharp gouge in the forearm, otherwise minor handling & use marks elsewhere & retains most of its orig factory finish.
