RUSSIAN MILITARY MEDAL AND FRAMED INTAGLIO SET. The unmarked 4″ medal dated “1891” and having Cyrillic lettering. The medal is a red enamel cross with two swords and enameled wreath on one side, the other with no wreath. The top with a folded green ribbon. Accompanied by its original red leather box which has some losses. 8-3/4″ x 4″ framed three-piece intaglio set encompassing three classical ovals, two with full figures and one with head only. Housed in a modern gilt frame with blue velvet background. CONDITION: Generally very good, as noted above. 9-96752 (300-500)
