SCARCE GILBERT “ORIENTAL” MODEL OAK SHELF CALENDAR CLOCK. Circa 1900. Walnut aesthetic movement case has day, date and month apertures beneath a Roman Numeral dial with time and strike apertures. Retains original labels. The door mounted with a multi-function McCabe patent calendar mechanism with eight-day spring movement with strike. Pendulum & key present. SIZE: 31″ h x 15-1/2″ w x 6″ d. CONDITION: Case has been rubbed down, glass has been revitalized and the day, date and month numerals have been repainted. Very good overall. 9-21125 (2,000-2,500)
