WILLIAM GILBERT “BERKSHIRE” MODEL HANGING CALENDAR CLOCK. Late 19th Century. The oak case with pressed and etched decoration flanked by spool colonnettes. The pediment similarly decorated. The eglomise door decorated with game birds and mounted with a McCabe patent calendar mechanism. The eight-day spring movement with strike, case with original paper label on backboard. Pendulum & key present. SIZE: 39″ l x 14-1/2″ w x 5″ d. CONDITION: Oiled original finish, cover plate for the calendar mechanism has been painted blue, missing one rosette.
