COAL WAGON BEING PULLED BY MULE, 1912. Manufactured by Ives Mfg. Co. Large gray cart embossed and gilt highlighted with “COAL” on both sides, orange spoke wheels. A darkie is standing in the cart, which is being pulled by a large japanned and gilt mule wearing a saddle and harness. Visually pleasing, in 1912, Ives used very bright enameled colors and this toy is no exception. SIZE: 13”. CONDITION: Overall condition is very fine. MC 1-3824 (1,000-1,500)
