*RARE REMINGTON MODEL 610 BOLT ACTION SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. NSN. 267 Cal. 24-3/4” rnd bbl. A large number “1” has been stamped on top of the receiver over the chamber. This rare experimental cartridge was an attempt by Remington to develop a large cal, more powerful rimfire cartridge, but it was not successful and few were made. Scope mount holes have been drilled in both sets of markings on top of the bbl. CONDITION: 80% blue on the bbl, 50% mixed with light surface rust and pitting on the action and triggerguard. Casehardening on the bolt where protected by the closed action. Mechanically fine. 4-60210 FS784 (1,000-1,500)
