EXCEEDINGLY SCARCE CONTRACTORS WAGON W/OB BY WILKINS. Seldom-found, this toy has a Clydesdale-like work horse attached to a swiveling contractors dump. The uniqueness of this toy is a free-floating seat in front of the dump and a lift flap on the rear to empty the dump wagon. A black enameled horse in gold and red trim and the yoke and dump wagon, in brick red and the smaller front wheels in yellow enamel w/black pinstriping are offset by the larger wheels on the dump body. Typical Wilkins figure used on many of their toys, such as the mower, tetter, hay rake, etc. The wooden dovetailed box is lacking lid and void of label. SIZE: 13-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Overall very good, one wheel has substantial paint loss. JL 1-4138 (1,200-1,400)
