EARLY CAST IRON MILLS “THE ELK” GAMBLING MACHINE. A fine early cast iron Mills trade stimulator with intricate castings. Both the right and left side depict a hunting camp with trees, a tent, three young hunters, a slain deer carcass hanging from the tree, etc. One to five coins can be played with the winner receiving a token which is dispensed from the right side of the machine. Various odds are indicated by the amount of symbols on the wheel/drum visible through the front casting. Machine contains a multitude of original tokens and is in functional condition. Older restoration to the iron finish with original papers, possible replacement of symbol choice paper (?). SIZE: 13″ w x 11-1/2″ d x 18″ t.
