*REMINGTON MODEL 1901 MILITARY ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE WITH BAYONET. NSN. 7mm Cal. 30” rnd bbl. Marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO. / ILION. N. Y. U.S.A. / PAT’D. OCT. 22ND, 1901.” on the upper tang, “CAL. 7 M. M.” on top of the bbl in front of the hand guard. The rear sight base is graduated to 5 and the leaf is graduated to 19. There is a screw in the top of the receiver over the chamber. The 16” knife blade bayonet is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO.ILION.N.Y.U.S.A”. It has a Springfield Model hilt and scabbard with a leather belt loop. CONDITION: Fine. 95% blue, bright on the breechblock and hammer. Casehardening colors on the action are slightly faded. Only traces of blue remain on the buttplate. Wood is fine with minor handling marks. Action is fine. Bayonet is fine with scattered spots of light surface rust. Scabbard has about 80% blue.
