FRANCIS WENDROTH SAUNDERS (AMERICAN, 1901 – 1992) “THE ATLANTIC”. Fine watercolor shows a locomotive with tender and passenger car crossing a three-arched bridge. Signed lower left and dated ’79. The artist has provided us a description in a typed paper on reverse and indicates that the Pennsylvania-Atlantic is shown speeding from Harrisburg, PA across the Susa River.
