REYNOLDS BEAL (American, 1867-1951) THE CIRCUS IS IN TOWN. Pastel scene shows a circus set up with large tents, American flags, Calliope wagon, clowns, acrobats and circus cast members. A large elephant is seen feeding from a large bucket. Signed lower right “Reynolds Beal 1930”. Housed in a good gilt molded wood frame with wide linen liner and inner gilt and white liner.
