LARGE HOTEL MARLBOROUGH NEW YORK CITY PAPER SIGN. A very bold image of the hotel, ca. 1890-1900, chromolithographed by Thomas & Wylie, NY. SIZE: 31″x26″ excluding mat & frame. CONDITION: Very Good. From the matting it appears that the top margin is cut off, which is not the case. This piece was matted this way because the upper right corner margin was damaged. Rather than repair it, they matted it this way. HOWEVER, be advised that in matting this piece it was permanently pasted to the mat board, so this is the best look the piece can have. 1-27871 (800-1,200)
