WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE VASE. Extremely fine Fairyland vase features red to violet shaded Imps on a Bridge having a green imp standing on shore next to the water while two black winged goblins look on. The green bridge extends over blue water all set against a brilliant flame lustre sky with a green Roc bird flying over the bridge. Trees, flowers and Imps are highly decorated and outlined with gold gilt. The inner lip of the rim is decorated with a beautiful floral border. Signed on the underside with Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood”, “Made in England”, “Z5481” and “2” in red ink under glaze. Vase is also impressed with shape “3451”. SIZE: 12″ t.
