TAYLOR FLINTLOCK FOWLING PIECE/MUSKET. NSN. 20 ga. 58-1/4” rnd bbl. Marked “TAYLOR” on the lockplate. There are no markings or proof marks on the bbl. This is an early flintlock with no bridle on the tumbler or frizzen. The block has a flat gooseneck hammer that appears to be orig. The stock has brass furniture. The ramrod is a replacement. CONDITION: Brown patina overall with light to moderate pitting. Wood has several repairs, mostly along the forearm. Mechanically fine. 4-59169 FS668 (3,000-5,000)
